This is the brand new collected edition of my Diary Comics strip. I've edited it down and then added new material in to make the whole thing more of a single linear entity, which I think has improved everything considerably. New 17-page introduction, new interstitial pages, new sweet design, new new new.
Copies bought from me come with a sketch on the dedication page, and will be personalized upon request. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
A collection of some of my favorite "Persons of Interest" drawings done over the last 2 years. You can see all the ones to date in this Flickr set. Famous people or characters, drawn by me, all by request.

The latest in my series of autobiographical comics, and the first to leave behind the daily-diary model in favor of more sprawling explorations of self and perception and important stuff like that (don't worry there's still some banal stuff too). If you've never read the previous 3, it's not at all necessary, plus bonus: this one's much better. 88 pages of black and white inkwash comics, culminating in the 38 page story BOXES. Interiors professionally printed here in Charlotte, with covers printed, scored, folded, and attached by me and my girlfriend, for that lovingly hand-assembled feel you've come to adore.
For an extra $5 I'll do a nice sketch for you on the title page, in the blank panel you can see in that picture there. Books will begin shipping after SPX (September 15-16 2012) where it will debut at the Koyama Press table.
SMALL DRAWINGS is a book of just that: small drawings. 48 pages of black and white drawings, culled from my 1/4-page commissions, one-hour drawings, and a few others. Color covers, printed right here in my office and hand-assembled painstakingly in the wee hours of the night while watching Breaking Bad. Heisenberg says Relax!!
My first ever published comics story was in Superior Showcase #3, published by the wonderful Chris Pitzer of Adhouse Books. My story was and is terrible. BUT, fortunately there are two really good stories in there, one by Jim Rugg & Brian Maruca, and the other by Laura Park (that one got nominated for an Eisner). Plus a cover by Roger Langridge. So even if you hate my story (which you should), you're still coming out pretty good on this one for three bucks.
Bonus! I'll throw a free small sketch in every copy I sell through this site!
